I ordered this dress in Ivory glitter in a size 18-22, was fairly large but I was able to clip it up. The straps are stunning and do detach which is nice when trying to put it on. However this was not the dress for me and the top part was pretty stiff for my liking. Still a great dress but not for me!

Beautiful dress with a gorgeous train! I ordered the dress in ivory/oatmeal in a size 22-26, it was pretty big on me for the most part and a lot of fabric. VERY glittery and will leave glitter on your floors. Beautiful lace work that trickles down the skirt portion. The straps are VERY thin and would likely need to be reinforced if altered. I won't be choosing this dress however it doesn't negate the beauty!

This dress was very gorgeous! The top part is heavier because of the beading, I ordered a WD20 in ivory/ivory. It was a little too big for me but clipped up nicely. I won't be ordering this dress as the top part is very transparent and would need some sort of material put behind it and was looking for more of a design in the skirt. Very pretty dress overall!

I ordered three dresses to try on, of the three this was my least favorite. I loved it in the pictures, but not necessarily in person. Then I put it on. It was beautiful. I loved the layers and the fit. This is a princess dress for sure. I did go with a different dress but this was a contender. I wear an 8 or 10 in street sizes. This is an 8 and I could just squish into it. But it's a sample and the material may have been a bit more stretched. The dress I purchased was a sample 10.

This dress is absolutely gorgeous! Pictures don’t do it justice, it is very good quality and heavy material. Not cheaply made at all, it was perfect for my February wedding in the hill country. The try on process was so easy and convenient, I decided to buy my sample since I didn’t have time to order custom and got a nice discount by doing that.

I saw this dress online a few months back and INSTANTLY new this was it! I ordered a couple of dresses to give variety, however when I put this dress on it confirmed my what my heart was telling me. It is perfect! Light weight, love the back, the cut in front, the way it hugs my figure and flows down. The train is beautiful!! I LOVE the champagne color as well. This dress was very high quality and so beautiful. I am a size 12 in old navy jeans and was sent a 10. I couldn’t get it on. It is very tight and did not have much give. I wish I could have really seen it on because it was the most beautiful dress!

This dress was absolutely beautiful and very high quality. I loved the sleeves and back once my fiancé closed all of the buttons. I didn’t go with it because it was tight in the butt and hips. Sitting down wasn’t comfortable. It looked great on my booty, but was not comfortable to move in. I am a size 12 in old navy jeans and this was a size 12 dress.

Our Try at Home program allows you to pick up to 3 gowns at a time, bridal or bridesmaids, to be
sent right to your door. Whether you're trying on for style or size, our Try at Home program helps
make sure you feel confident in your purchase online.
For bridal Try at Home only, you can apply the sample cost (up to $45) to the purchase of your dream dress!
Up to 3 dresses at a time- $10 per bridesmaid sample and $15 per bridal sample, shipping included.

Our dresses are in a range to let you know that the sample is a good fit for you to try on if you're in the size range shown. The sizing for wedding dresses can also be different than what you're used to for your everyday clothes so we show a range to help guide you towards a better selection.
Wedding dresses are rarely a perfect fit, and our samples are a way for you to see the look and feel of the dress. Trying on dresses one size up or down is normal when bridal shopping — we provide clips to help you get the right fit. All of our dresses in a range are the middle size of the range — for example, a size 4-8 will be a size 6.
After your bridal samples have been returned and received by us in good condition, we will send you a discount code (up to $45) via email that you can use towards the purchase of your dream dress!
While some sample gowns are brand new, most sample gowns have been tried on by other brides as brides go through their journey to find their YES dress. We have high standards for our samples, so every gown is inspected and cleaned upon return. We try our best to catch and do any repairs necessary before returning them to inventory. Samples are meant to be worn and tried, so your sample may come with slight wear or tear; this is why we offer 20% off any sample gown purchase!
Wedding dresses are rarely a perfect fit, and our samples are a way for you to see the look and feel of the dress. Trying on dresses one size up or down is normal when bridal shopping. That's why we provide clips in your sample box to help you get the right fit. Since these samples have been tried on by brides like you, they may be stretched out over time. Therefore when choosing your final dress size, rather than going by the size you tried on, it's highly recommended that you follow the size chart measurements. If you have any questions, our stylists are here to help!
Most of our samples will be available to be shipped to you within 1 week. However, some styles in high demand might have a waitlist, which can extend the delivery time. If your desired style is not available immediately, your stylist can work with you to find alternative options to achieve a similar look.
Drop off the samples at your local FedEx within 7 days of delivery. If you want to extend your time with the dresses, contact our customer service team.
If you love the dress you tried on, the try at home sample is available for purchase to you at a 20% discount. Please reach out so our dedicated customer service team can help you with the next step

Before you decide to purchase, please examine the gown for any defects and make sure it is the correct style, color, and size for you. You must purchase the dress BEFORE returning any of the additional dresses in the order. All sales are final for any Try at Home sample purchased.

We include a prepaid FedEx return label inside the box with your dresses. We cannot be responsible for any packages returned to us using a label or carrier other than the one we provided, meaning that if the package becomes lost, you could be charged for not returning the dress.
If you misplace your return label, please reach out to us athello@averyaustin.comand we’d more more than happy to help!
Please also note that Try-At-Home samples must be returned in the original condition they were received, with all tags affixed. Samples are only meant for try on purposes so if they come back damaged, you may be charged a fee to fix the damage or replace the dress entirely if the damage cannot be fixed (ex. stains, tears, strong odors, etc.) If the damage is severe, the cost will include the full retail price of the dress.
If we haven’t heard from you and your package isn’t on the way back, you will be responsible for the full retail value of the merchandise in your possession. But please, let’s not let it get to that!
